How to sign up with a referral

  2. Check service for your address on starlink.com.
  3. Choose a qualifying plan. The referral program is typically for Residential or Roam.
  4. Finish the order on starlink.com. Orders from resellers, retailers, or account transfers usually do not count.
  5. When the kit arrives, set it up in the Starlink app. Any free-month credit is often applied to the second month, and the referral commonly completes after about two months of service.

You and the referrer generally need to be in the same country.

What Starlink itself offers

  • Residential: plug-and-play setup, weather-resilient service, unlimited data, 30-day trial. Example US prices on Starlink’s plan page: 100 Mbps $55, 200 Mbps $85, Max $130. The 100/200 plans are only in some areas; Max is highest Residential priority.
  • Roam: plug-and-play, in-motion use, pause with Standby Mode, 30-day trial. Example: 100GB $55, 300GB $80, Unlimited $175. Capped Roam plans get high-speed data, then unlimited lower-speed data.
  • Consumer plans are typically month-to-month. Confirm cancellation terms when you order.

  • In the US, recent terms have been about $100 cash per successful referral, or a service credit instead.
  • Cash is often an opt-in on the Referrals tab. Service credit is commonly the default.
